Mighty Mic is a student-run coalition that organizes an annual benefit concert on UCLA's campus. Every year, Mighty Mic highlights a different humanitarian crisis.
This year's cause is the violence in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Past concerts have raised money for Women's Rights in Afghanistan, the conflict in Darfur, and the democratic movement in Burma. Our goal is to use music and other mediums of artistic expression to raise awareness about human rights violations across the world and bring people together in UCLA and the greater Los Angeles community.
